Fewer Jamaicans Want to Migrate?
This was an interesting result of a poll published in the Jamaica Gleaner back in February. Apparently, the number of Jamaicans wanting to migrate has dropped by 6 percent in the last 2 years.
Perhaps a "President Obama" might cause this to change?

You don't think that the apparent collapse of the US economy has anything to do with it?

Or is it that, people are no longer blinded by the illusion of 'sucess' to be had in far away places - you know, the 'anywhere else but here' philosophy that so many pursued in the eighties and nineties when things were especially bad in JA? Well, I do not know how much they have improved, but perhaps there is room for consideration that Jamaicans might actually want to live here? What say you?
If only you could stop robbing and murdering each other in the streets, I might take your theory seriously...

D,
Your comment makes no sense. Didn't you see the poll? Fewer than 10% of people who WANT to migrate are leaving the island because of crime. MOST people leave because of economic reasons. Please THINK before you post foolishness.
